Yesterday it was not there.
Today I saw in the distance a piece of paper.
aargh I thought.
More litter in these magnificent woods.
I marched over.
I would be the environmentalist to take charge and tear it off.
But I changed my mind.


I'm a writer,
a mediator,
a pastor,
an educator,
a lover of the arts,
a wife,
a mother,
and on occasion,
a pot stirrer.

Can anything good come from a mediation between a man who raped a fellow partygoer, the victim and her parents?

Living in medias res
